Home loan rules

  • Purpose: buying land, building/buying a house, adding a floor, repairs
  • Limit: the lowest of the collateral valuation, 15 years' salary, or the salary of the period remaining until age 60
  • For construction, disbursed in at least 2 installments (first installment at most 25%)
  • If both spouses are contributors, both can borrow separately against the same collateral, each within their own limit
  • Can be taken again after repayment; unpaid interest on the home loan blocks the education loan (and vice versa)

[Process]Special loan — the fastest and easiest

  1. Log in to the SSF mobile app or SOSYS
  2. In the Loan section choose Special Loan — no collateral needed, citizenship and ID are enough
  3. Request up to 80% of the amount in your Retirement Benefit Scheme
  4. After approval the money comes directly to your bank account — in users' experience, within 24 hours

💡 The interest rate is set by the Board of Directors and changes from time to time; interest unpaid by the end of Asar is capitalized into the principal. Excluding the special loan, the total of all loans cannot exceed 15 years' salary.
