Who determines the disability percentage, and how?

Verified: 2026-07-11

The Health Examination Committee determines it. Pension = 60% of basic salary × disability %, for life and inflation-adjusted. If disability is 20% or less, a lump-sum payment may be made. It is reviewed every 5 years — the last review at age 58.
